You need to check the box to include sold items in the search. Here is a direct link, I hope:

Aquarian Sports Cards 12-04-2018 11:42 AM

was a nice buy even if it was a dead common.

asphaltman 12-04-2018 11:47 AM

Shoot, there is a Red Border in there too.

bobbyw8469 12-04-2018 12:37 PM

Please educate idiots like me...was it a rare back T206?

Stampsfan 12-04-2018 12:42 PM

+1. For all the non experts out here, we are curious.

And congrats... but I'm not sure for what.

T206 Sharpe error.

Aquarian Sports Cards 12-04-2018 12:46 PM

no, Shappe/Sharpe error.

Wite3 12-04-2018 02:08 PM

The tin top is worth the price of admission even without the Shappe!

Nice Dan.

Joshua

"Blind Squirrel," my ass! A better description for Mr. Mckee is "The Old Fox" (a/k/a Clark Griffith)!

Hey Dan, good to see you active again on Net54. Hope all is going well for you.
Val

Wow, that lot seems cheap even if it weren't a "shappe". Nice score Dan!!

brianp-beme 12-04-2018 08:13 PM

Congrats...that was quite the lot. The T206 Shappe and the Red Border Colgan's card. But there is another card I have not seen before, the W572 card with the Nielson's back. I have a vague memory that maybe there are cards out there with counterfeit stamped backs (real card, fake stamp).

No matter what, congrats, congrats + potentially congrats!

Brian

Holy Shappe!

Leon 12-05-2018 06:42 AM

There are lots of cards that are real with fake back stamps. Kendig come to mind too....

BTW, Nice score, Dan.
