Board regarding cards from the 50s?
Posted By: Rick
Hi people. I'm a newbie to this board and was just curious to see if there is a message board relating to cards from the 50's and 60's? I enjoy coming here and reading all the interesting posts. I am mainly a collector of that period however the pre war does peak interest to me. Thank you for your time.
Rick

Posted By: leon
You might try the collectors universe one and the Beckett ones....The times I have strolled over to those there were a lot of 50's and 60's stuff being talked about....(if you haven't already been to those)....Also, SGC has a forum that might cater more to those era's.....

Board regarding cards from the 50s?
Posted By: James Feagin
I won't speak for Leon, and I'm not encouraging it, but he hasn't censored rarer 1950's cards (i.e Non-Topps and Bowman). I've learned a lot about 1950's regional issues, hot dog sets, bread labels, among others, through this board.

James

Board regarding cards from the 50s?
Posted By: leon
I have no issue with board members discussing some of the 50's issues....per the board rules... I/we have almost never censored anything by a regular board participant. Daily discussions of Topps would not be what I would want to see on the board though. FWIW I can't remember the last time a card subject was deleted or censored. It's really very rare....best regards
