Let's get something going then....that's enough to meet the minimum.....

BruceinGa 02-01-2018 06:36 PM

I might have a few.

Bigdaddy 02-01-2018 07:37 PM

I'd be very interested, submitting most of a 1954 Redheart set.

whitehse 02-01-2018 07:37 PM

I have a few I could contribute,

AddieJoss 02-01-2018 08:20 PM

I have 3 cards

Republicaninmass 02-02-2018 05:03 AM

Possibly, but it wouldn't be until closer to the end of the month to see what accumulates

BleedinBlue 02-02-2018 05:28 AM

I’m in for a handful. I’ll pull some this weekend. I assume these all must be standard size?

I didn't think of that. I was going to submit a 1954 Red Man. Let me know if that doesn't qualify.

bobbyw8469 02-02-2018 08:05 AM

Regular size, thick/patch, Tallboy cards are accepted.

EXCLUDES: Supersized (larger than 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"), T3, and Dual Service Cards, tickets and packs.
Thats from PSA.....tall boys are OK.....supersized is not....if a redman is larger than 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 IT CAN NOT GO!!!

kailes2872 02-02-2018 08:07 AM

Is there a dollar value cap? I have a really nice raw 54 Bowman May’s that I think could hit a a 7 or 8 (who am I kidding, it will come back a 4). If the value limit is $100 then this would be above. Otherwise I can get it to you and find a few others.

No...sorry...the limit is $100...you can fudge it a little bit, but anything too obscene is gonna get flagged. Put it this way...would you be happy with a $100 reimbursement if they damage your card?

Another question...

Does this mean we can mix sizes on the order? I may have some tall boys to submit but don’t have 25 of them.

Yes..you can mix sizes....are long as they aren't bigger than the 3.5 x 5.5 size...that would be considered supersize.

swarmee 02-02-2018 10:55 AM

They can all be submitted, but I believe you'll have to put multiple orders together with separate return shipping. But you don't have to meet the minimum on all orders submitted at the time under the special, just have at least that many total.

Not true...one order is OK...just can't exceed the size. You can't mix pins/coins with cards.....but cards can be combined...a T206 and a 1952 Topps and a Mutoscope.....three different sizes....all OK....just cant be bigger than 3.5x5.5

bobbyw8469 02-02-2018 11:06 AM

Here are the details:

Coins/Pins are permitted, but must be on its own submission form, with its own return shipping fee.
EXCLUDES: Supersized (larger than 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"), T3, and Dual Service Cards, tickets and packs.

Yes...PSA.

bobbyw8469 02-03-2018 06:43 AM

For those that don't know the routine (have never submitted with me before), you package the cards up and send them to me. The cost is $6.50 per card for the grading PLUS $1.00 per card for shipping TO AND FROM California. They MUST be in Card Saver I's...NO TOP LOADERS......You pack them up, include a sheet of paper stating what the cards are, the values you place upon the card should PSA damage them, and your return shipping addy. Also put your Net54 "handle" on the form so I will know who to contact should anything arise. When I get the cards, THEN you can send a PayPal payment (however you send it so they dont take out fees), to cover the costs of grading and shipping. Checks are OK, but I prefer PayPal. When the cards come back, you are responsible for the shipping charge back to you. I know it SOUNDS like a lot, but it isn't. It's relatively easy. Ask anyone who has subbed with me before. I am the one who has to keep track of everything for months on end :-p

whitehse 02-03-2018 05:50 PM

Bobby do you have details such as address ready yet? I have at least two or three cards to toss into this deal. Thanks for putting this together.

Harford20 02-03-2018 06:45 PM

Interested in sending in a few. Sent a PM with question.
Dave

No problem Bruce...I'll send a PM upon receipt requesting payment.....

The-Cardfather 02-05-2018 05:44 PM

Bob,

I'll probably be sending 10-12 to you on Thursday.

wdwfan 02-05-2018 05:52 PM

I only have 1 from 1956 (and none that are older). Is it worth it to send 1 off? I've never had anything graded, nor have I ever bought/dealt with graded. So this would be a first for me. Here's the card...

swarmee 02-05-2018 06:06 PM

Card doesn't look like it would grade more than a 5. Leave it ungraded.

Agreed...plus the special is for PRE 1956....meaning 1955 and older....that card, even if it WAS gradable, would not qualify.

Tallboys can go as long as they don't exceed the size limit. You can send paypal payment upon receipt.

Of course Swipe79...just follow the instructions, about the form with the cards, values and net54 handle so I can know who to contact....Like Negan said, it's "Easy Peazy, Lemon Squeezy".

bobbyw8469 02-12-2018 05:56 PM

cards received

Swipe79 02-13-2018 05:08 PM

Do you have a preference or does it matter if the cards are in penny sleeves inside of the card savers?

That makes no difference at all. I dont take them out. They have to be Card Savers and not top loaders though.

Luke 02-14-2018 11:07 AM

Just wanted to say I think it's really cool of you to do this for people. It's time consuming to put submissions together, and the $7.50 rate you're offering can't be beat. In all the submissions I've put together, I don't think I've ever had the actual cost be below $8 per card after shipping each way. If you're also paying to ship the cards back to people, I imagine you're probably running this at a loss. I hope everyone participating realizes what a nice thing you're doing.

LOL...thank you....no, I don't pay for shipping back from my house to the submitters house. But you are right on one thing....It IS time consuming, and I'm not making a penny doing it. The $1 extra I tack on DOES cover the shipping to and from Huntington Beach, but only if the sub gets big. If not, then you are right, I lose money. I really don't mind doing it....I just don't do it all the time.
