Help on a photo

I purchased this on ebay over 10 years ago and i know its signed by rudy valee and in the same hand it says bucks weaver. I would really like to know who the player is he is shaking hands with.

You can be sure it's not Buck Weaver of the Black Sox.

It says Bucko not Bucks.

Here's another photo of Vallee, supposedly from 1930, with Rabbit Maranville at Braves Field that appears to have been taken the same day. I found the photo through a google search.

The photo was taken in 1930...They had an Old-Timers game there 9-8-1930. So photos could be from then. Only Buck that was there was Buck Freeman.

Just a guess .. Dr Harrison "Bucko" Weaver was a trainer with the St Louis Cardinals from 1927-1954

Silly me. I at first thought the guy on the left was Rudy Vallee and was trying to figure out who was the baseball player on the right.
