It is too too obvious but I'm sure there are some who will fall for it:<br /><br />"Dear Value member, <br /><br />There is a problem with the card you used while bidding at one of our auctions. <br />A communication problem with the bank server might have caused that problem too <br />but we are unable to collect our commission. <br /><br /><br />Until the problem is solved you would need to use a different card so, please, <br />log into your account and enter the new card details. <br /><br /><br />Billing Service<br />Looking for ward to a good co-operation. <br /><br /><br />Sincerely Yours,<br />Jessie Pina<br />eBay Security Departament." <br />

Posted By: <b>jay behrens</b><p>The wording of the whole thing is very odd and not very good on the legalese, as I cannot imagine eBay ever telling anyone that they need a new card to "receive their commission". They would find some other way to say it.<br /><br />Jay<br><br>A good friend will come bail you out of jail. A true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn, that was fun."

In the above email:<br /><br />"Dear value member" (as opposed to 'valued member')<br /><br />"Looking forward to a good co-operation"<br /><br />The second paragraph is especially goofy, only in part because eBay doesn't charge a commission to bidders.
