1906 Postcard Integrated Team Help

1 Attachment(s)
I just picked up this postcard and I am wondering if anyone might have some additional info or ideas. The team is from Streator Il. I am wondering what people think about the team. My thought is that is a high school team and that the younger looking guys in the front row are underclassmen not bat boys. I haven;t been able to find any reference of any well known players coming from Streator so i would not expect any known players (though the guy second from the right back row looks a lot like Jim Creighton :) ) But does anyone know the town or area.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Could that have been a coal mine team? Both of my pap's were on those types of teams and the picture reminds me of them.

Thanks for posting.

Streator, IL is listed as having a D-level minor league team in 1912 (Speedboys) and 1913-15 (Boosters). I don't have any kind of reference for their uniforms, but baseball-reference.com has rosters for the 1912, 1913 and 1914 teams (with lots of question marks). Dan Tipple (1912) and Bill Ludwig (1914) are the only ones shown to have made it to the majors:

That said, without something to compare the uniform to, I don't know if this is one of those teams or not. It's just a "could be" from me at this point, but maybe others can confirm or deny.
