Winner Announced- SAFE HAVEN RAFFLE T-H-E 1904 Allegheny McGinnity -

2 Attachment(s)
Hello All. I love dogs!

The Safe Haven Furever Pet Rescue has 'spoken' to me and what begins once I have started this thread is a raffle for which all monies will be donated directly to the Rescue.

https://www.gofundme.com/safe-haven-furever-pet-rescue

I'm not on facebook, so we will use the above link, unless you know that your donation can be seen from the above link (under recent donations)...and that would be fine.

https://www.facebook.com/Safe-Haven-...0819762571800/

.

Raffle ends at Mid-Night CT (that's forum time stamp) Friday, November, 30th.

Leon will select the winning number and post the winner on this thread.

Each $25 donation will earn you one raffle number toward the prize.

If you want more than one number, please make a separate $25 donation and post it separately to this thread.

ADAPTATION: Any donation in multiple of $25 will be assigned consecutive raffle numbers...for example, I just verified a $50 donation for two numbers...so they will get the next two numbers available...if you do not want consecutive numbers, please make separate donations.

Each entrant must post donation notification after doing so...the order of your assigned raffle number will be the post time-stamp.

Each entrant's Net54 user name will be recorded along with your number in chronological order on this page of the thread.

The prize is THE 1904 Allegheny Card Co. - Joe McGinnity and will be sent via registered USPS mail to the winner of the raffle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1904 Allegheny Card Co.
By definition the rarest card issue of the early 20th Century is this baseball game set featuring only National League players.
It is thought that the sole known boxed set was produced as a prototype and never actually reached distribution.

Any questions, please post on this thread so that others can learn from you inquiry.

Thanks and Good Luck! Woof! Woof!

-Raymond

OK, Raymond, I'm in for a ticket. Made my donation. What, if anything, needs to be posted here to verify.

And thanks for doing this. It's a neat deal all around.

Thanks so much on behalf of all the doggies we are able to save! Just as an FYI, spent 11 hrs on Thursday going 7 different places to pick up either from shelters or vets a total of 9 or so dogs that I then transported to rescue groups or fosters. now unfortunately often forget to take pictures since their names and faces now tend to "run together" more than some time ago. LOts of "Rocky" and "Roscoe" lately!! thanks again everyone!!!Bill Latzko

Verification of Donation:

Member John E Scott donated $100 to the cause but hasn't made the required post to this thread. The following comment was made with his donation...before I changed the required donation from $50 to $25, so John will get four raffle numbers. Your donation has been verified. Thanks John Woof! Woof!

Donation for 2 entries in Clydepeppers McGinnity raffle. My four year old mini-pin mix rescue sitting on my lap as I make this donation. Great cause.

clydepepper 11-17-2018 04:50 PM

Verification of Donation:

Just like the donor mentioned in the previous post, Robert Lifson also donated $100 - and he is also entitled to four raffle numbers instead of two since the requirement was dropped form $50 to $25

I verified his donation to which Robert attached the following comment:

This donation is for two “entries” to Clydepepper’s extremely generous Allegheny McGinnity “raffle” to raise $ for this great cause. If by some miracle I should win, I repledge the card to a second raffle or auction to double (or more) the $ raised. Thank you Clydepepper for your generosity and thank you Bill Latzko for your efforts, and Leon Luckey for letting Net54 be a part of this good cause!

Thanks a lot, Robert Woof! Woof!

Woof! Woof!

Robbie,
As pledged, I just made my $100 donation at the Go Fund me page.
Please register me for 4 chances at the great, generously offered card.
Even if I don’t win, the doggies do!

(Of course the McGinnity Card would be amazing to have too;))

Thank you for the opportunity!

My rescue dog, Buddy, turns 8 on Monday and we'll be headed to Petco for the full spa treatment.

I adopted Buddy 7 years ago and they have gone from 20% saved to 80% from 2010 to present!

Spayed and Neutering Service hand in hand with carefully vetted adoptions are the key. I start my volunteering career with them on Tuesday.

Buddy Culpepper would greatly appreciate more donations so that he will have more doggie friends to play with.

Take a $25 chance on a 104-year-old one-of-a-kind Baseball Card of Hall of Famer 'Iron Joe' McGinnity...and save a dog while you donate!

Thanks to all who have given and all who will!

Well, technically, you are the donor, not the donee.

Thanks and good luck!

Right now we have 6 permanent dogs. Five of them were dumped, roaming in really poor shape on our street, so we kept them. The other one was a stray in North Texas that we took off the street in poor shape and kept, Lola. She sleeps under my arm every night now.
We have 1 foster rescue shepherd currently which will be going to MN very soon to be adopted. It seems up north they actually have laws to protect animals, not like Texas. I love Texas but it kind of sucks for making pet owners be responsible and liable. Thanks again to Raymond and everyone who has donated. The doggies appreciate it more than anyone and I know Bill L .....well, he is doing God's work here. He is a hero, big time.

Just donated $100 on behalf of my two rescues, Max (Maximus Gigantic Rex) and Birdie (Ladybird Sprinkleboots Featherbottom). Yes, the vet always gives us "that" look when we tell them their full names.

Max was from the mean streets of Camden, NJ, where I found him in a highway median, and Birdie was found in the stairwell of an abandoned hospital in Puerto Rico after the recent Hurricane.

I don't think so, but you can use your credit card or debit card as I did.
