Posted By: John Harrell
I've had this S&S Game Card.... er.... 36 Goudey for a couple of years. In addition to the "label", you might compare the grade of this card to the 33 Goudey that was posted a few days back with a grade of 2. I love slabbing.

John

Posted By: David Vargha
It looks like a "2" to me. PSA doesn't have the interim grade like SGC does. It's either Good or Poor/Fair.

DavidVargha@hotmail.com

Posted By: Bill Kasel
Sure that's a 2 David, but I believe it was to be viewed in comparison to the Goudey that Jay posted a week ago.

Grading is evil!

Bill

"The beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert"

Posted By: David Vargha
I musta missed that post. Overall, I like grading. But I still won't get hung up on the number on the slab when buying a card. I'll take a pre-war "2" all day long that is EX/MT on front with slight paper loss on the back. Quite frankly, the 36 Goudey in the scan above has too much surface wear for my liking.

DavidVargha@hotmail.com

Posted By: dan mckee
WOW, none of my S&S cards in my set look like this card. This card looks exactly like the cards in my 1936 Goudey set. What a neat S&S variation! Is it for sale??
