Hal Smith bat
Finally dug it out of the carriage house, and my memory wasn't so good. It's not an LS, but an Adirondack.
I'm pretty sure it's a game bat, the pics aren't all that clear after the board shrunk them, but it is a 302. I'm not sure which Hal Smith it's from. http://www.net54baseball.com/picture...ictureid=27039 http://www.net54baseball.com/picture...ictureid=27040 http://www.net54baseball.com/picture...ictureid=27041 http://www.net54baseball.com/picture...ictureid=27042 Cracked and repaired, and with some delamination on the barrel, but as a $1 flea market find It seemed worth it. |
Have a Hal Smith LL bat in a group lot in my auction

On each bat, that's the signature of the catcher who played for the A's and who helped win the World Series for the Pirates. Not the Cardinals catcher. Nice bats!!
