Great items guys, enclosed not a card but a cool Johnson autograph which he mentions "the best hitter he ever faced". There`s an accompanying auto where the "best hitter" mentions Walter as "the greatest pitcher" he ever faced. Keep these coming boys..................

Mine may not compare with many here, but I don't think that I've seen this back posted here yet...

Here's a seldom seen Walter Johnson card on an original uncut sheet of W560 cards issued in 1927 (includes Lou Gehrig, Lefty Grove, etc).

Another example of too rare for it's own good.
This one came from a prominent collection of rare types ;)

Bicem 11-12-2018 08:25 PM

Well if both of you guys have one it can't be all that rare. ;)

And that collector really liked that card too. Here is a WD Boyce Co. WaJo card with others and the pack it came in. :)

A few really interesting Wajo items in our current auction...

One of the earliest known type one photos of Johnson in the majors... lot 654

Johnson handwritten letter about his final moments with his dying wife written to a former teammate, really puts a human touch on the baseball legend, a must read... lot 844

Have always liked the birthplace postcard as well... lot 446
