It only took....15 YEARS! LONGEST RETURN TTM.

It only took 15 years.I played Star Wars CCG. My friends and I would play during our "sleep overs". We write to all the Star Wars guys on the Star Wars CCG cards. I did this 2000/2001.Dermot Crowley aka Star Wars' General Crix Madine finally signed my card!! When I went to the mail box I knew what it was exactly. Still couldn't believe it.What a shock! I send this card out to be autograph when I was in 7th grade!! I'm 27 years old now! Still don't know how it got to me after 15 years. Better late then never.......

I kept all my return TTM and envelopes. In the photo I took, I grab an original 2001 Star Wars return SASE to show and compare. TOP SASE 2001..BOTTOM SASE 2014. I added 2 stamps because it was going to Europe!

CRAZY!!!!!

That is cool and it only took 15 years.

Something similar happened to my little brother. A mail delivery person was stealing mail so they did not have to deliver it. For some reason they kept all the mail and had their garage and several storage sheds completely full of the stolen mail. When they finally caught the person they sent all the mail out to were it was supposed to go.

Nice return. Beats my record of 6 1/2 years to get one back.

My record is only 1 year. I am then in my late twenties, long after I used to send cards to players for an auto. I write a fan letter to an author I liked to read, who, as a read, usually gave me nice personal thought-provoking enjoyment. A few months later I read his obit in the NY Times. About eight months after that I receive a reply from him. At the bottom,"Paul, I thought you would like to read this". It was a mimeograph or carbon, but his handwritten message and sig would garner an Auth.
