Help dating a Babe Ruth photo
 

I recently purchased these two photos of Babe Ruth with Jack Doyle. The photo of Babe without a hat on says it was taken in St. Pete in 1927. The second photo also says St. Pete but isn't dated. I'm trying to figure out an approximate year, it's obviously earlier than the first one based on the facial features of both men and Ruth being much slimmer. I have yet to research what years they had spring training in St. Pete and if they moved around to any different locations.

For some reason, I could only upload one photo on the original post. Here is the second one.

I should have looked it up before posting. It appears the Yankees held spring training in St. Pete from 1925-42.

I had a 1925 OAL ball signed by Ruth and T.J.Doyle 'T' was rubbed off. Might very well be a coincidence.

That's definitely interesting. I'm going to do more research on Jack Doyle...
