I saw this on Craigslist and wondered what your opinion of this offer is? The Craigslist offer is at this link http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/clt/3147460632.html

Thanks,

I know nothing about that release, but they look like the recent release of A&G cards. They look too white.

I wouldn't buy cards off of Craigslist from my mother.

The set is a reprint from England. If you blow up the print on the back of the frame it tells you about the set, the values, and that it is a reprint set.

How were you able to blow up the print on the back large enough to read?

I did get a BIG laugh at Anthony's comment, but oh is it so true with C.L.!

It does include an Antique frame . . .

These sets are being catalogued alongside their original counterparts and in years to come may have the same collectable value.

Anybody want to take a guess as to how years it will take???

Babe3Ruth3 07-21-2012 03:02 PM

When they describe the cards as being in the framed for years, years and years, does that mean they have been framed for (years, years and years = 3 years)? :)

That's one advantage of using an IPad. It's easy to blow up a photo on the screen.

If you are looking for a wall decoration near your pool table this is it. Similar tennis and golf versions were available in the 1990's for around $50. Not a collectible.

How can he ask $50,000.00 for these cards and don't forget that you get an antique frame with these too.

Jewish-collector 07-21-2012 08:24 PM

The whole thing might be worth $50. He accidently put too many zeroes in his asking price. :D:D:D
