Info requested regarding RR Auction, Amherst NH
I am considering participating in an on-line autograph auction conducted by RR Auction, from Amherst, NH. But I have absolutely no knowledge of their reputation, competency, or professionalism. Have any of my Net54 Old Cardboard comrads had any past experiences (good or bad) dealing with this firm? I searched past OC threads and posts, but found no prior reference to this firm.
I realize the burden of the final opinion regarding the possible authenticity of an autograph rests on my shoulders, but irregardless of that decision, I would prefer to not support a Roach's-type operation (or even a marginally firm at that). Any insight or informed opinions regarding RR Auctions would be welcomed. My thanks. |
RR Auction typically has a great reputation. They have been in business for at least 20+ years if I recall. Some people will have issue with some of their items being authenticated via John Reznikoff (sp?), who has had some issues in the past, but on a whole, they have a great reputation.
They're usually a great resource for historical / presidential signatures, I have found, when I used to collect in that field. |
Their August auction was the first one for me, and I found them very professional. Emails were replied to very quickly and overall I had a very good experience.

I've purchased and consigned to them in the past. They do offer a money-back guaranty on the autographs they sell too.
