Babe Ruth Find --- PICS ADDED

6 Attachment(s)
I thought I would share my recent Babe Ruth find. I bought this off of a family who's father attended the Ray Doan clinic. I actually have the letter and flier for the clinic - the letter mentions how this individual had been a participant in the 1939 clinic...... also, the photos of the guy participating and of course a few of the photos also show the bambino - these were developed in feb 1939 (same month of the prior year clinic that the letter confirmed this fella participated in) and of course there is an autograph cut from babe...this is on a old thicker stock like paper similiar to old business cards almost... anyway, i just felt great about the authenticity of the signature knowing it was accompanied by all the rest of this and how they wanted copies of everything made for their memories prior to selling it....

the pictures of the hat is something i picked up at a local auction awhile ago - does anyone have any info on it?

The Ruth auto looks like it's on linen paper stock like old playing cards. Is it blank on the other side?

yes it is blank on the other side it very well may be a linen like mentioned - i have never taken it out of the screw down to be honest.....

Does anyone else think that the guy in last set of candid pics looks a lot like Shoeless Joe Jackson? Look at the guy in the Sox uniform leaning on the fence with Babe. Say it is so Joe.

Wishful thinking I guess. I see Shoeless everywhere. He was ahead of me in line at the post office last week. Pretty sure it was him...
