Nutter Center Show in Dayton Ohio Tomorrow. Worth the Trip?

Hi everyone I am a few hours away from this show and I have never been to it. I collect some pre-war and old Kahn's cards and I was wondering if this show would be worth the trip. Any info is appreciated.

I'd like to know, too. I live an hour south and have never been to this show and am wondering if it is worth the drive?

Hey William, I used to go to that show when I was a kid but that was almost 20 years ago. It has almost certainly changed since then but I always thought it was a fun little show to go to. I think it was monthly back then. There seemed to be around 50 tables or so. I would think it's probably a good deal smaller now. Probably not worth a big trip but if you live reasonably close it would be fun to check it out.

I mostly collected modern stuff at the time but there was a good amount of vintage. I actually picked up my first pre-war card there (33 Goudey Blaeholder) but I was more excited about the Hideki Irabu rookie I bought on the same day lol. Makes me wish I could go back in time and change my collecting habits.

I've set up there a few times. Promoter Dan Corley is a superstar among show promoters. If you contact him through the show's Facebook page, I'm sure Dan would fill you in on whether any of the dealer's carry pre-war. When I was last there a few years ago, there were 50 to 60 tables, some pre-war, much more post-war, modern, and a few Reds-centric tables. I really like this show and would set up more if I lived closer.
