1880s Cabinet....Can you say, "TMI, too much info in the description?"

Nice photo but detailing the obvious wasn't really that necessary, was it?

If you miss it in the description at least they have a nice close up to look at.

wow

The extremely rare and displeasing "well-endowed" variation
Because using the phrase trouser snake is likely inappropriate

Surprisingly the seller did not try to invoke "The Battle of The Bulge" to describe the bidding war that is likely to transpire as the auction ends.

I don't think the current crop of cabinets he's got are good. The photos look too big for the mounts, and the city is a big mismatch on the veterinary ambulance. They've sold the steam tractor one before on a different mount, but they also had a real photo postcard with the same image that looked fine as well as a couple other views from the same farm.

The lady blacksmith cabinet is online, from a different photographer.

Not mine.

Oddly, those are the only things that look iffy in all their listings, at least in fields I know. (Can't say about the decoys)

...at long last...the inventor of the pop-up slide is revealed.

Gives new meaning to the term "throwing junk".

Cups...

Did they make cups back in the 19th century? Hmmm... I bet this guy could "lay the wood" to the baseball.

The original "Big Unit"

1880nonsports 05-14-2016 10:46 PM

clearly a fake image

At least the dating, the torn excess paper, the typography, and the flatness of the image all suggest that..... Yesh

as for what is or isn't in his pants - I'm too old school to get involved with that one....

no guarantees whether written or implied

Winner. :)

All I could think of was Louweenieville Slugger. :(

The only thing missing is "Gay Interest" in the title. Any seasoned eBay seller will tell you nobody is going to bid on pictures of dudes without that line in there.

Leon, shouldn't this have been posted in the FOOTBALL section because it seems there's more concern about the sack than anything else... ;)

Rookiemonster 05-15-2016 06:34 PM

I've had my eye on the rare Victorian actress with a camel toe. But it's probably being shilled up.

Ps

looks like this guy is always sliding head first.

Jobu 05-15-2016 06:45 PM

Shouldn't this thread be a "poll"?

Dewey 05-15-2016 07:28 PM

Further research has revealed the surname of the player in question is Merkle.

Dunno about a poll for a pole but it could be interesting...

frankbmd 05-16-2016 06:50 AM

Everyone's laughing, but this guy made a fortune after retiring from baseball.

In the advertising trade he became the original boxers or briefs model.

It was a clever ad campaign that in fact featured a poll for the ladies......really.
