Need only 5 more 1961 Fleer Signed Hoops cards...

I almost can't believe it but I only need 5 more autographed cards from the 1961 Fleer Basketball Set to complete the 1st EVER of this issue!

Currently #1 on PSA/DNA Registry!

The more I hype it, the more I pay for the final 5!

#7 Carl Braun (Zero on pop report)
#24 Phil Jordan (Jordon) (Zero on pop report)
#37 Guy Rodgers (2 on pop report)
#47 Wilt Chamberlain In Action (1 on pop report)
#50 Walter Dukes In Action (Zero on pop report)

I will take SGC slabbed, PSA/DNA slabbed, JSA/BVG slabbed and possibly raw depending on provenance.

SICK CASH for any of these. Finders fee also if you lead me to a successful purchase.

Thanks!

Peace, Mike

The 61 Fleer is my only basketball set. I grew up in St Louis when the Hawks were still there ( and traded the draft rights to Bill Russell for Cliff Hagen and McCaulley ) I really like it.

Amazing effort Mike. Good luck on completing your quest

Jordan will be tough

Jordan drowned after a rafting accident in Washington State on 7 June 1965. His raft, which was carrying four men, broke apart, and his body was discovered floating in Puget Sound on 27 June.[3]

Wow!

PSA just awarded this exact set of mine with their top 2018 Autograph Award!!

(The Impossible Dream) - 1961-62 Fleer Basketball - Best PSA/DNA Autograph Set of the Year
Autographed trading card sets are an entity all their own. To assemble such a grouping, one must be part collector and part historian. These hobbyists learn about each individual shown on a card, how long they played, when they retired, what they did after leaving the game and, in some cases, when they left the earth. Collectors tie their collection permanently to the athletes, knowing that each card was actually handled by the subject at some point along the journey. This is not only one of the greatest vintage basketball sets in the hobby, but it is also 95% autographed. A rarity indeed.

PS: Luckily they will consider "partial sets" as long as they are at 95% or higher completion. I am now down to needing only 3 cards:
#7 Carl Braun paying $750
#24 Phil Jordan paying $2500
#37 Guy Rodgers paying $750

;):)

Good idea but I think I tried before. I've actually helped Mike with his 1948 set and he has helped with mine. Not every day you can find an upgrade for his 1948 set but I did and we had a nice trade that day.

Thanks!

Mike
