D322 Tip Top Bread Wagner

I read in some threads from a few years back that D322 cards had gone down significantly in value. Does anybody know if this is still the case? I see that a Wagner PSA 5 sold in March for over $41k which appears to be the highest it has sold for. Have their prices come back or perhaps just the Wagner?

common d322's have dramatically decreased in price..Wagner, as well as some of the toughies...not so much!

That Tip Top Bread Wagner is such a great looking card. Very cool.

tip top wags will always be an expensive...very desirable alternative to t206.

Awful looking card I think. He looks like he has a shrunken head!

I always liked this card, until I saw one in person. His head and body aren't even remotely proportional.

If his head was bigger, or his body not so wide, the card would be even more desirable/valuable, imo.

I guess the Lionel Carter pedigree didn't do much for the SGC example.

Yeah, I saw this one had sold for about half of what the PSA 5 went for from a few months ago which is why I was curious why that was. I actually recently picked up a Wagner which is what piqued my interest. Thank you all for the responses!
