Posted By: <b>Kenneth A. Cohen</b><p>I picked one up on Ebay not too long ago, with no paper loss, for under $50. I posted it on one of the pickup threads. $50 or so seems to be about be right price. People asking more are dreaming or are waiting for someone unaware of market levels. I'd like to find the White Sox card as a compagnon piece but the prices asked for the few I've seen for sale are ridiculous. Hoping to find a competive auction or a reasonable asking price.

Posted By: <b>Robert S</b><p>Here are two variations of these White Sox / Cubs cards:<br /><br />1) 1906 White Sox with red overprint:<br /><br /><img src="http://www.vintageball.com/1906_VO_Hammon_Sox_Ovrprnt.jpg"><br /><br />2) "1907" variation of 1906 Cubs PC which references the Cubs 1907 Pennant Victory, but not their World Series victory. The card was produced for the World Series (this example was postmarked after Game One and the sender's message even mentions this Cubs-Tigers 1907 World Series tie game, the first tie in series history):<br /><br /><img src="http://www.vintageball.com/1907_VO_Hammon_Cubs.jpg">
