Piggybacking PWCC on Ebay

You got to love all the sellers that put PWCC in their title to increase views. In my opinion, it's genius. Do you think eBay will eventually regulate it?

Obviously does that to mislead. I can't see eBay paying much attention UNLESS Brent notices/says something and threatens action.

i think what actually happens is the seller uses the PWCC listing for the same card to list one like it and doesn't change the title.

Dang that's genius and shady at the same time. Maybe they don't even know what pwcc even means as they seem new to eBay with that feedback and are just doing it because everything they see has it. Maybe not. Who knows haha

Interesting .. perhaps, didn't think of that. Still, it wouldn't surprise me if they know what they're doing and using to gain advantage as OP noted in search or mislead. Willful or not.

Listed 2 days after purchase so no way he had card in hand. He had to copy the PWCC Listing as he had no way to get a new image at the time of listing.

As it stands right now - He paid $40 for the card and has 1 bid @$35 with Free Shipping

If this ends like this he only loses $10 or 25% on a card purchased only with the intention of flipping.

eBay makes out and no one else (cept maybe the ultimate owner as $35 is great price on an 8)

As previously mentioned by james, from PWCC's ended listing for this card, there is the option "Sell One Like this"(right below the image).....if you click on that link, the exact title PWCC uses comes up in a new listing template. Likely, that is what happened with this seller and any reference to PWCC is completely unintentional. Also, the card this seller is offering (ending 510) does not have the same serial number as the one PWCC sold (ending 143).

Maybe, it was his consignment that he won back.
