Never mind. Full screen shows full catalog. Was trying to keep it small while looking at work.....

RedsFan1941 03-31-2017 03:10 PM

huh? Using the interactive catalog I see the entire auction

jbl79 03-31-2017 03:43 PM

REA Interactive catalog

Great stuff in the auction as always. So much eye candy.

Sean 03-31-2017 04:02 PM

Well, my White Whale is not available once again, even though there are 8 other T215 Red Cross for sale.

But I did find a Beige Whale (if that is a thing), so it looks like I'll have a busy night. Is the chatroom going to be up for the final night of REA?

x2drich2000 03-31-2017 04:18 PM

After a quick skim, I don't think i've ever been so excited to not find something I need. :D

Ouch. My bank account is going to hate me after this auction. Just too much great stuff.

pawpawdiv9 03-31-2017 04:37 PM

My few whales finally showed up...OMG!!! This has me excited.

kailes2872 03-31-2017 04:50 PM

So bummed... I have been looking at past catalogs waiting in eager anticipation. Then, I get it and they don't have much of hit list. I had even held off on some other stuff thinking I would find a nicer, higher grade version.

Now, I am hoping that I get lucky with the late, online only portion of the auction.

I had told my wife that I was going to go a bit deeper this year on this one because it is getting tougher to find exactly what I am looking for - so I have been saving up and waiting for this one...

edjs 03-31-2017 05:03 PM

Man, that is the worst auction ever. Don't even look, nothing there worth looking at. Really. Don't even bother. Everything is really old, you guys shouldn't waste your time. :D

h2oya311 03-31-2017 05:57 PM

I was breathing a sigh of relief as nothing in the first section met my "must have" criteria as my bank balance is currently running on fumes. Then I got to the memorabilia section. Argh!

RedsFan1941 03-31-2017 06:59 PM

Pretty exciting to see the autographed old judge of Connie Mack come back on the market.

+1. Do we think it will meet the $25k reserve?

T_Hamilton 03-31-2017 09:51 PM

Wow... twice a year I get completely blown away by the stuff that REA offers... in my opinion the gold standard of baseball auctions. After winning a 1914 CJ Wagner in the fall I will be sitting this one out after picking up a D304 Cobb and another card... wow.

Joshwesley 03-31-2017 10:33 PM

That Briesch Williams Matty:eek:

Who owns that?

The 48 leaf Satch PSA 7
🔥

PhillipAbbott79 04-01-2017 07:24 AM

Good lord there is a lot of amazing stuff in there.

glynparson 04-01-2017 07:53 AM

Fantastic Job REA

Brian and his team have done a fantastic job. The write ups for my lots are perfect, in my opinion, not full of to much puffery. What a tremendous offering and I hope we all get what we want, and do great with our purchases and consignments.

Yoda 04-01-2017 11:37 AM

I think their optics have set a new standard. Probably an emergency board meeting going on right now at Heritage.

pawpawdiv9 04-01-2017 12:17 PM

I never stayed up for any auction house, and defintly not extend bidding....not sure how I will play this out??? I can't wait for the cowbell to open the gates.

In the past Leon has opened the chatroom during the extended bidding phase, so if they do it again this year, join us. :)

You live out East. Don't stay up-- just go to bed and get up REAL early :)

edjs 04-01-2017 01:31 PM

The chat room is lots of fun during REA. I learn so much while there about different cards/series. Great to do.

We will have to get Brian on it. I am technically challenged at best. It has been a lot of fun in the past and quite entertaining sometimes.

egri 04-01-2017 02:09 PM

All I can say is...

WOW. Even though there was nothing that I particularly wanted, there was still a lot of eye candy.

Looks like this isn't the case again this time - in the Rules section, it says they'll use the format they used in the fall, of cutting off all bidding by midnight ET on the final day. As an East Coast guy, I'll take that format, and not have to worry about the 3 AM outbids.

I really liked the new format last time as well. Looking forward to having the real catalog to thumb through. Great auction REA!

I very much doubt that. Heritage, I am sure, is doing just fine.

As is PWCC Auctions.

Enfuego 04-02-2017 06:45 PM

So I assume no hardcopies will be sent out this year?

Sean 04-02-2017 06:48 PM

"Catalogues mail April 7".

pokerplyr80 04-02-2017 08:52 PM

Very impressive. It was hard to concentrate at work today. Is that tango eggs Cobb really the only one left?

rjackson44 04-03-2017 08:33 AM

My point was the amazing advancement in user friendly optics not a dig at Heritage at all. I am certain all auction houses have taken notice of REA's technical leap.

Bicem 04-04-2017 03:58 PM

Auction open for bidding.

barrysloate 04-04-2017 04:12 PM

Lot 27, the N172 Old Judge of Harry Wright, is not the rare pose. The rare one is 510-2. I think they mixed them up.
