Closing Tonight: Love of the Game Auctions

Hi All:

Just a quick note to let you know that the LOTG Summer auction closes tonight. Extended bidding begins at 9pm Eastern, with the Double OT period beginning at 2am. Any lot not receiving a bid after 1am will close at 2, and the rest will remain open under the 15-minute rule.

Lots of great items are still available at excellent prices, notably these:

Lot #1: 1910 sterling silver loving cup presented to George Wright

Lot #2: 1911 D304 General Baking Near-Complete Set (24/25) - super-low price right now

Lot #3: 1909-11 T206 Ty Cobb (Green Back) - PSA NM-MT 8 (MC)

Lot #5: 1884 Providence Greys Oversized Team Photo w/Hoss Radbourn

Lot #6: 1912 Oversized New York Giants Photo w/Christy Mathewson - Fans Give Matty a Car!

Lots of other great memorabilia items, including 150 or so lots from the Ted Patterson collection, a large selection of tickets and passes, tons of autographed cards, and of course, prewar cards.

Good luck to all who are bidding.

Regards,
-Al

Looks like about 100 lots received No Bids. Either too high opening bids or a weaker market.

Or, coming on the heels of two major auctions, buyers were tapped out.
