I'm trying to figure out who this is sliding into third base. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me.

I can't say who it is off the top of my head, but that's definitely the Polo Grounds in 1938.

How are you so certain of the year?

I'm selling a collection. This is one of the photos in it. It's 11x14 but I can't ID the player.

The Polo Grounds had a very unique look to it, and that’s certainly the place. The home Giants uniform cements it. In terms of the year, all due to the adverts on the walls—that particular configuration was unique to 1938.

Myatt is a real possibility.
If not, what about Bob Seeds?

Myatts arms are about as unique as his face ,
Thick forearms , noticeably thin wrists And then big hands
