The Card Collectors Company items

This company was brought up in the pre-war forum in regards to prices on T206 cards. I ended up scanning all of the pieces I have and thought I'd share them here. Some of the images can't be read due to the small detail. If anyone wants to see the detail up-close, let me know and I can scan portions to make them readable. It's fun reading about the price offers at the time!

Thanks for posting those. I find it interesting that there is a reference to "Beckett value" in the 1981 ad.

Card Collectors Company was the first company I purchased cards through the mail from in the 70's. I loved getting the flyers in the mail and dreaming of getting all those great cards. Wish I would have had more money to spend but paper routes and yard work jobs didn't pay that well in the 70's ! Thanks for the post, always great when you get to go down the memory lane path, Brett

Great eyesight you have, Drew! If you'd like to see anything enlarged on that 1981 price list, let me know. For example, here are the prices for the T206s:

Great memories, Brett. I didn't have any job money as a kid to spend on cards. I had my 10 cent allowance (it was a silver dime you know!) and money from birthdays, etc. I bought a few cards to fill in my 1962 Topps Babe Ruth and World Series subsets from what I remember...

Those ads bring back a lot of memories for me. :)

Thank you! Now, on to my time machine!

Hey, what a great post! Thanks for giving me a glimpse of something that I had never seen before, but had certainly heard about.

This answers, for me, the question of what I'll do first when I get my time machine working: Place an order from the Card Collectors Company (at 1964 prices, of course)!

It's my pleasure sharing these saved items with people who appreciate them!
