1877 color Peck and Snyder equipment ad

While interest in most of the stuff I like is limited, there is interest in early equipment, although my interest in the piece is 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings connection.
It is the first issue the Peck and Snyder trade publication from 1877. In addition to the aforementioned 1869 Cincinnati article and illustration, there is a nice color center spread of some of their equipment etc, reminiscent of the color poster featured in a much earlier thread.
If anyone would like a closeup of anything, just let me know.
Only the color ad loaded, I could not get the cover loaded, sorry.

Hey Bruce
If you will send me whatever scans you want posted I can probably make them look a little better on screen. You have my email. Neat ads. I always like those old equipment ones.

Thank you Leon, email sent.

Bruce, I recall seeing this item some time back. It’s a beautiful woodcut and so distinct to have the unique color illustrations as well in the same obscure publication. I believe that the same Red Stockings woodcut
was in a NY Clipper but don’t recall exact date. Great stuff!

That's an exceptionally nice P & S color ad. I used to own a late 1860's color banner, which I've pictured before on Net54, but this one is right up there in overall eye appeal.

George, yes it was a Clipper woodcut originally, from October 2, 1869, based upon a Hoag composite photo. I did a prior thread on the 1869 team images.
Barry, yes I remember. That is what I referenced in the first post, but I didn’t know how to incorporate it for reference. I always remembered how great that was.

Kevin, As you may remember, I love that one.

That ad is remarkable, 141 years old, damn!
