T206 old mill multiple strike reverse

2 Attachment(s)
I just returned from getting my t206 old mill hof vic willis authenticated. It's now encapsulated "a"by sgc.
I have sent this card to several auctions houses. I get such a wide range of the valued price. They range from $3,000 - $12,000.
Can anyone with more knowledge help me out.
I did look at another auction house who did sell a non hof player with a double strike reverse. That sold for over $7,000 this year. This card is triple strike. I have attached photos
thank you for any information.

This was originally put in the correct BST section and I moved it as I thought it was a good thread for the front page...

Love the Willis error! Why not try to sell it private first and if you can't get a great price on it, go for the AH? Seems like something to think about.

I do think selling it now or soon is the best option.

Auction is a great way to go, but sometimes private works out well. I actually sent you a message as I have a collecting pal our own Jim B who collects this player and pose.

It may be in your favor to reach out to Jim happy to put you guys in touch. His screen name is E93.

I was also the winner of the 7k card you mention, it too was triple strike...but that's just splitting hairs. :)

Cheers,

John

Not that it makes a Hugh deal...
But I believe that it has been Struck 4x, Not 3x!
I could be wrong here, but hasn't it been struck 2x uPside down and 2x rightside uP!?

wonkaticket 12-23-2013 11:52 PM

Denny can I get a count on mine too? That way we can brag in the locker room who has more strikes. :)

That back is crazy enough to induce seizures.

Nice card. Wondered if another upside down non-SL OM would show up.

Slight double strike.
