FYI: New Beckett Card Grading Pricing & Turnaround Times

Just thought I'd post this up for those who were unaware that Beckett has changed their grading pricing and turnaround schedule:

Obviously these are pretty substantial changes in both pricing and the # of cards needing to be submitted to get a better price per card.

Autographs will still be an additional $2 per card as usual.

For those who may ask what "Premium Service" means - that means the turnaround times stated are once again 100% guaranteed without the "5-Day Grace Period" they had recently installed to help them get orders fulfilled in an appropriate and accurate manner.

Wow.

Like I told you at the show, it would have been in your best interest to have submitted then instead of now.

I wasn't lying. ;)

So am I to understand that if I have exactly 50 cards to be graded, I have the option of paying $9 or $10 a card?

And what exactly is a "scard" and who is walking around with more than 100 of them that need to be graded?

I thought high school kids only graded the cards, I didn't know they also wrote the ads for the company.

Haha. Yeah, they didn't exactly proof that thing before they handed it out.

This from the least consistent of the big 3 with probably the poorest customer service.

Unless I have some new, out of the pack autographed card that I'm hoping to get a 9.5/10 Grade or higher so I can flip it for huge profits to some collector that has to have it, this will not affect me in any way.

I'm very glad that I did.
