T206 Doppelgangers

3 Attachment(s)
Hey, First off I'm brand new to Net54. I love the informative posts everyone's been sharing. Anyway, about 6 months ago I got into collecting vintage cards, particularly T206s, and I definitely have gotten the Monster bug. So much so that I'm starting to notice people that look a lot like T206 players. Just thought it would be fun to start a thread about T206 dopplegangers or look-alikes. Post celebrities, relatives, friends, whomever who resemble T206 players
To start it off:

Red Ames aka Nic Cage
Clark Griffith aka Jeremy Irons
Jimmy Collins aka Rich Sommer (plays Harry Crane on Mad Men)

mrvster 02-09-2014 07:12 PM

Welcome.....

Great thread! that Collins is a dead ringer:eek:

sebie43 02-09-2014 07:31 PM

Agree, Jimmy Collins is dead on!

I always thought Mr Chase was a bit of a pretty boy like someone else we all know..

Funny, I always thought Chase looked more like Matt Damon, but I can see the similarities with Brad Pitt too.

I am at work so maybe someone could help me out with pix but Ed Hahn always reminds me of a "Monty Python's Flying Circus" era Michael Palin.:D

Haha wow I can definitely see the resemblance.

These are all great. I never spotted the Huggins Pete Campbell comparison, but that is spot on.

Billy the Kid didn't die in New Mexico. He had a successful career in baseball.

Know this is a bit off the topic but thot I was the only that noticed these.... My monkey is the 55 Topps set and the Maddux/Elliott thing has always been something that struck me as "reincarnation"

I'm glad celebrity look-a-likes are back in the mix, so I thought I'd bring this old thread back up as there were some good ones posted.

Lately I noticed Art Devlin is a dead ringer of the boss character in the new AMC show Catch and Halt Fire. If you like Mad Men you'll love this new series.

Haha I love the Steve O and Dick Egan comparison. And the Batch and Cabbage Patch connection made me laugh so hard I almost spit up coffee on my computer monitor.

Not a T206, but I came across this photo of Dave Bancroft the other day. Looks like a young Robert Duvall to me.

Not a T-206, but the minute I saw this Dan Dee of Walker Cooper, I immediately thought of Colin Mochrie.
