Ebay encourages this type of bidding with their little pop up bidding window if you don't get the high bid it asks you if you want to bid again. Incremental bidding until you reach the top bid. It's the reason I took the ebay app off of my phone because I got tired of it making 20 consecutive little bell sounds every time someone would bid like that on one of my items.

Another one, I know different seller, but this guy for listing "scarce" in his title needs someone to tell him what scarce means, can't be too scarce this is his 3rd one he's selling:
