T206 population
 

Just curious as to the guesstimates of the total population of T206 cards in existence.

250 thousand or more?

I posted before here about a pawn shop owner who stated he had 400,000. (He's a chronic liar) He also stated he had 25 Ty Cobb backs. :)

Seriously, I've heard reports of 2 million remain.

According to the What's your Monster number thread, there are 2,834,216 T206 cards out there.

With the amount of cards seen in auctions, ebay, and the discussions on this board, you would think there were as many T206 cards still around as there are 1988 Fleer cards.

I would think somewhere in the 1 to 2 million range, but that is just myself blowing cigarette smoke rings.

It appears that I must travel to Thailand to look for more T206 since you are still shipping your T206 to Thailand. No wonder I am having difficulty completing my set.

And that is just this board though. Can't imagine we're the only ones :D

I know for a fact that the monster thread is off by 11. Lol. So there's that.

Anyone who thinks there are more than 2,000,000 cards posted on the Monster Number Thread needs a refresher course in Mathematics.:D

Currently we have roughly 54,000 listed, possibly some more than once.

You might want to check ebay. I see new ones there all the time.;):D
