Im thinking of picking at least one of them up and want to double check pricing since im not a autograph collector and not too knowledable about pricing on index cards. thanks for your time.<br /><br />Danny

Posted By: <b>Rhys</b><p>It is going to be hard to get an accurate price because it could be an ugly taped over signature or a beautiful 3X5 card of the same guy and the prices are going to be very different. Here are my opinions assuming they are all pretty nice.<br /><br />Gandil $300-$500<br />Cicotte $250-$400<br />Risberg $1200-$1500<br />Williams $1500-$1750<br /><br />Risberg is supposed to be tougher according to several people, but I have seen maybe 10-15 different ones come up for sale (all from the same group as you probably know) whereas I have seen maybe 5 Williams in the last 15 years come up for sale. Just an estimate but that should give you an idea.<br /><br />Rhys

Posted By: <b>Chris</b><p>You will be hard pressed to get Cicotte or Gandil for less than $500. Maybe not even less than $600. I would gladly pay $400 for either. I don't know about the other two. I personally have never seen them for sale, though I am sure they have been offered for sale.

It comes up in one of my Nebraska searches because he played for Lincoln in 1907 and whoever has this auto must have his whole bio on the listing.

Posted By: <b>Chris</b><p>There was a Cicotte in Hunts Auction Feb 2007 that sold for $475 + BP. There was a Gandil that sold on EBay maybe 4 months ago that went for about $585. I don't remember the exact amount. There is actually one of both in the Mile High auction I believe.

Posted By: <b>Jodi Birkholm</b><p>A typical 1960's Cicotte 3X5 should retail for about $400-450. I have sold two or three at that price. Gandil should be priced at least twice as high, if not more. These are strictly retail estimates. Cicotte, although always in demand, is a fairly easy acquisition. Gandil's availability seems to come and go in waves. I might see a few availablie in two months, then there will be a drought that lasts for six months-one year. Both Gandil and Cicotte didn't seem to grant many requests until the final decade of their lives. Cicotte lived under an assumed name for many years to avoid talk of the scandal. <br /><br />Edit: Chris: I was the underbidder on the Gandil 3X5 you mentioned.
