It appears a number of Ebay sellers are now adding "PWCC" to their listing titles. I guess Ebay is the wild west now.

Nothing new about that, seen that for a long while to at least some extent.

Many time it's from someone clicking "Sell one like this..." and then being lazy.

I also see many “not PSA” items that I assume are done for much the same reason.

I bought a ball that was titled JSA. When it arrived it had no cert and turned out to be fake. The seller also said he did a copy item. It makes sense to copy the highest price items no matter if it’s true or not.

I asked a seller about it once and he said he didn't know much about cards - an auction for the card in the same grade had ended recently - it looked like he copied the whole thing. "not PSA" is much more annoying - obviously if I put "PSA" in my search there's a reason. I don't see why anyone would have "pwcc" in their search - they label their auctions pretty well - I don't see much risk in a search skipping one of their listings.

Not sure about that as a long term strategy. ..
.. Keyword spamming has been going on since ebay started. It's only gotten worse over the years.

slightly OT, I've seen o/c prices listed among nq prices on VCP - you have to click the individual image to see it...but they include those in the 'average' price listed.
