Upcoming Nashville shows

We don't get many big shows in the South, but there are two coming to Nashville. The Music City Show in October and Rich Altman's show in September.
I'm curious if anyone has experience at either show and how they are for vintage. I've recently moved to Tennessee and it's a hefty drive to Nashville if it's not worth it.

Lighthouse school shows

Not sure about those shows, but the bigger ones at Lighthouse school are OK and at least one Net54 member sometimes has a table there. More post-war vintage than pre-war but there are usually a few tables with pre-war. I'll check out those two you listed in the fall.

Late September will be the big Lighthouse show

Suppose I'm biased, but I think both would be worth a few hour drive. Each will have around 200 tables with most anything you might be looking for. Beckett and JSA usually come in Sep and PSA came to the Music City (Oct) show 2 years ago. The Sep usually will have one or two autograph guests (typically with local ties) and the Oct show will have several more nationally known (and more expensive) signers.

I'll be set up in Sep, come say hi.

Edited to add: my opinion, at least from a vintage collector point of view, is the Sep show is more casual "weekend warrior" type dealers, and probably the better show to find deals. Oct is more national dealers with more "stuff" but fewer deals. But they're both fun and worth coming to.

I live 20 min. outside Nashville and Lighthouse is the biggest thing we usually get. No admission fee and 2 big buildings (school gyms) filled with dealers. There has been more vintage lately and wouldn't expect any less now. 2 hours drive would be a bit of a stretch for me in road time but that's just me. It's the best we get so I'll take it. Jeff, the promoter is a great guy and does a quality job. Beckett usually comes to grade and you get a few local athletes and former Tigers players (his team along with the Cubs) for autographs. I have never seen anything about that other show but will definitely check it out. I've lived here for 9 years so if anyone has any local questions I'll try to get you an answer.
