Just got this little beauty today in the great State of Vermont! Babe Ruth school notebook. "Imperial Series 149" is on the front as well as his name.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.....year? scarcity? coolness factor? :)

I was surprised to do a Google search and not find any info or photos of this particular notebook. Size is 9 13/16 by 7 3/16 inches.

Thanks as always!

Peace, Mike

I have a few of these, covers only. All of mine are hockey so these may have been made in Canada. Very tough to find, not sure if I have seen a baseball one before. They would seem to date 1932-34

Here are examples from 2 different series.

Nice piece....

Would there be a value to such a piece in this condition?

Thanks.

One of these was on ebay in the past year or two I think it sold for around $1500 but it was in great shape. Had a lot of bids.

Undoubtedly Canadian, as strongly suggested first by "Imperial Series," and all but confirmed by
the original owner's signature, which appears to be "J Edward [or Edmond] Bergeron, Bromptonville."
Bromptonville is in the largely Anglophone "eastern townships" of Quebec, just north of Vermont
(noting as well that the script on the page facing the signature is in French).
