Posted By: Steve
Let it be know that Rawn Hill of Maine, generously sent a rare and beautiful item to me.

The item is an amazing postcard with the team photo of the Boston Americans. Perhaps the board recalls that Rawn had posted several of these a couple of weeks back... I had enquired as to the origins and he had volunteered what he had known. I'd offered Rawn payment and was told in so many words that he would be glad to send an example along.

As a Boston History geek I am thrilled to have this piece. Currently, I am seeking information from Robert Vintageball.com. Thusfar we are stumped, so if anyone has a lead or source please drop a note. Again, Thankyou Rawn. This has become my favorite PC!
_________________________________________________ _____________________

Ladies and gents, I present the 1910 Boston Americans!..

Copyright F. Posted By: Rawn Hill
Don't get all teary eyed, it was the worst of the three, Collecting for me is the joy in everyone for having or seeing a new piece of the game that we all love. I'm somewhat interested in the value of certain things. I've never sold a card, nor will they ever be for sale. If I find someone that has the same passion for an item that I have, it is theirs, no strings attatched.

My main collecting interest is, as a few may well know, Bill Carrigan and early Red Sox, glad to have found this site and fellow lovers of vintage baseball items. Try to teach the game to those that follow, the respect, the love and the passion for the game.

Steve or any other member, if I have something that you need, ask and it is yours, ok, except the wife, I kind of like her.

Rawn
