This looks much better than a 5!

Wow, this is the best looking 5 I've seen in a 14 CJ! Would love to see any better examples. Show yours?

I would guess the person that submitted the card asked that it be graded with "no qualifiers". PSA then decided it was a PSA 7, but since it is OC they downgraded it to a PSA 5.

That is a very nice looking 5. I wonder if the card was downgraded for centering issues. But I have seen worse graded better.

I doubt it's the centering. What's that under the N in Nationals?

Agreed. It has to be something else. Surface wrinkle?

It looks like it! Pretty easy to miss on the scan though!

Cleaned AND trimmed! Good work, PSA!

PS: And naturally it's in a Probstein auction.

This is why I am anti professional grading.

And good work by whoever did it. Good thing we don't know any people like that, eh?

BlueBlood 11-25-2014 08:24 PM

WOW crazy..I'd like someone to send both pics to PSA and hear their response..Nice work

Peter_Spaeth 11-25-2014 08:34 PM

Their response will be if someone has an issue with a card they can submit it for review.

BlueBlood 11-25-2014 08:37 PM

I just forwarded both pics to Orlando..We'll see if I get a response..

GasHouseGang 11-25-2014 09:14 PM

That's a lot of work and expense for a one grade bump (if that is the same card).

I'm mostly focused on shill bidding. Know anyone who does that?

Not the same card. The registration is different.
