Fire!!

You can only save one T206 new find piece and watch the rest burn. GO

A) 8 HOF complete lithograph stones & 2 printer scrap sheets
B) 1 uncut sheet of brown old mill players
C) Box of 15 proofs of non-printed players, 6 test Drum 460 commons & mint Doyle error blank back
D) Fresh off the press quality P150 strip of Wagner, Plank & Magie

And tell us why.

A) Owning two uncut sheets could answer several questions and I think would be quite valuable, plus the original stones would provide great insight into the printing process.

D - I couldn't watch Wagner & Plank burning in front of me.

C & D are a toss up, but I'll go with D.

atx840 10-30-2011 03:15 PM

Maybe I should combine A & B

jp1216 10-30-2011 03:27 PM

D over C - but just by an inch. Wagner & Plank would outweigh the proofs etc - for me. Time to check the heat/fire rating on my safe....

Now that's a tough choice!

D would be the easiest to sell.

C Might be the most interesting, but I think there'd be a long struggle to get some of those accepted.

B Maybe the least valuable, but the most important of the easily portable items.

A Probably my choice. Risky, since there'd be I think 9-10 stones, and that would probably be right at my limit on how much I could actually carry. And very likely well over that limit. That much weight would really slow me down. If I had enough time to carry all those stones out, I could probably just grab the two sheets and the other 3 things. The stones would probably come through the fire ok.

I'm just not feeling decisive just now.....:D

All of that stuff would have been in the same box so rather than decide which cards to grab I'd take the whole box.

Prefer the Wagner

D, but can I throw myself into the flames in exchange for C? I'd be a martyr for humanity.

Tsaiko 11-01-2011 01:47 PM

With my indecision tendencies, I'd burn with the cards while trying to make a decision.

C, but I'd look for the T4 Obaks of Vancouver and Victoria players, and wonder who actually started the fire.
