Ted Williams Furlong Field Hawaii & July 28 1943 Yanklands War Bond Game - WTB

Looking to buy anything related to Ted Williams during his time at Hawaii during WWII. Specifically from Furlong Field, doesn't have to be Ted, can be other players, fans, or field shots.

and July 28 1943 Yanklands War Bond Game

Ticket stubs, program/scorecards, photos, etc.

PM me with anything you have, even if not for sale I'd love to see it.

Thanks

Saco river auction

Saco river has an auction coming up in January. There is a big group of Ted Williams letters in the sale. Letters were written while serving our country. Worth a look.

Where can one find the Saco River auction info? I haven't seen any sports related auction info on their website...

I have a few items related to Williams and WWII. The first is a baseball that is pretty shellacked but originated from Jack Phillips who played in the 1945 Navy AS series at Furlong Field. Ball is signed by Williams, Musial and many others from the game.

Second item shown are either postcards or pictures of the 1945 team. Also have the NL team, but Williams is obviously on the AL side.

The next item is the final GU baseball from that season. Came from the catcher, Bob Scheffing's personal collection.

Have programs from the game that the picture is not loading for some reason.

I also have a servicemen ball with a beautiful Williams signature (among around 22 others). Not sure where exactly the ball was signed or if it was signed in one place, but all guys who served in WWII.
