iPhone app for the Net 54 board

Hi,

Is there an iPhone app to connect to the Net 54 board?

If there isn't one, does someone on the board know how to make one? I don't know how difficult it is to do this. But could one be made easily and given for free to board members?

Thanks.

Cy

not today

There isn't one today. IF someone would like to try to make one I will be willing to help in a non-technical manner. Our platform is Vbulletin and I do believe it's able to be done. I am not sure what it entails though. regards

iPhone app for the Net 54 board

Someone would have to make a webapp, which is easier than making an appstore app.

there is an app made for it

As I said, Vbulletin has a mobile app. I am sure there is a lot to do to get it to work for Net54baseball. I would be willing to pay for the app but I have no clue about programming or technical stuff...

I think this is the most popular solution out there:
http://www.tapatalk.com/

The forum plugin is free and users buy the iPhone or Android App.

Along the same lines...

Are there any good apps that anyone uses to keep their checklists, want lists, etc? I see there is a T206 app that looks like it would be good, quick reference at shows, but not sure it's worth the $3.99. And there are a ton of free list/to do apps that could work. Just curious...

I'm curious what an App would provide that I can't already do from my IPhone? I often visit this website already with my IPhone via Safari with no problems. Does it make navigating the website easier?

That is interesting. Does it work here?

Tapatalk is great! Thanks Leon, Matt, Trae and whoever else was involved in getting the plugin installed!

Works great on the iPad.

Leon 06-11-2011 06:51 PM

tried but....

Brian gave the Tapatalk install a try today and I think he thought he had it but then there was an SQL error....so we will keep working on it. I am sure there will be something good in the near future.

shammus 06-11-2011 09:37 PM

Actually the SQL error was an error involving backup of Net 54 as I decided to do that too. The Tapatalk stuff went well and should be working.....

shammus 06-11-2011 09:39 PM

Judging by a couple of the previous comments....sounds like this is working well for you guys so far :)

T206.org 06-11-2011 10:56 PM

Nice, Guys! Tapatalk is working A+ as far as I can tell.

Mrc32 06-12-2011 05:20 AM

The app works great!

OK Guys,

How do I get this and how does it work? I'd like to put it on my iPhone.

Thanks.

http://www.tapatalk.com/
is a link to their website.
Or you can open iTunes, go to the itunes store and search on tapatalk. It is $2.99 and works on both the iPhone and the iPad

Or if you just browse to Net54 from Safari on your iPhone, a popup message will ... popup. Follow the instructions and it will send you right to the App Store.
