Jake is off to another great start! :D

119 pitches tonight, and he looked tired in the 9th. I hope this doesn't take too much out of him.

Nice Cubby tribute to the recently deceased and ex-Cub no-no man, Milt Pappas.

He should be fine going forward as long as the don't stretch him too long in the next couple starts. At with Jake you don't have to worry much about his fitness.

He really is as impossible to hit at the moment. I haven't seen a pitcher be this dominate in almost every start since Pedro's run.

Game was an awesome game. Hopefully a sign of more to come.

This marked the first time a team scored at least 16 runs and no-hit the opponent since the Buffalo Bisons' Pud Galvin beat the Detroit Wolverines 18-0 on Aug. 4, 1884.

^ gotta love that!

Awesome! Anyone have any Pud Galvin cards?
I am glad I already have my Cubs tickets for next week. Price is going to be going through the roof the way they are playing!

Oddly, the game was not as close as the score indicated.
