E92 Lajoie Crofts Cocoa

Guys, Is there more than one pose known in the Crofts Cocoa series of Nap Lajoie ? I have only seen the fielding version. Is their also a batting pose ?

Thanks

Not that I am aware of. Someone else might chime in. I do not think there is another pose. 90% sure

100% sure. Only the fielding pose.

I too am only aware of the fielding pose. More importantly, can you tell us what prompted you to ask your question?

I picked up a Lajoie with a Crofts Cocoa back. The front was a batting pose. I suspect the card is not authentic but it is in the hands of the specialists to determine for me.

I see. Let us know what happens after the specialists decide it's fate.

If this is the card then I'm sorry to say that it is a fake.

Scott, Couldn't pull it up. Is this from an ebay auction ? If it is at least I can claim its a fake and get my money refunded.

Yes, eBay item #260442396223.

The URL that I posted above should take you to the eBay listing for that item.

If that is the one that you obtained, hopefully you can get your money back without any issues.

Regards,

Scott

That horizontal crease looks like what happens when a multi-layer item is folded. It almost looks like both the front and the back were pasted onto a third piece of cardboard.

Fake

Fake as a dead doorknob (and we all know how fake those are).
