Kren's Special bat info?

I found this old kren's special bat a couple days ago cleaning out an old storage shed. (photos attached) I'm having trouble finding out a whole lot about it. It doesn't have a player name on it and i can't make out anything specific on the knob. I assume the 24 is the model #? Any info would be appreciated.

Great find. Bat is from the 1920’s and is an Emil Muesel model.
