Hi Everyone,

November 15th is here! First Session Bidding ends today! Don't forget about the Second Session lots that end on the 16th. There are a lot of great cards.

Now that the $8.1 Million T206 dust has settled I am letting you all know that bidding for the Fall Heritage Signature Auction #50007 has begun! If you want to know your tax rate you will need to Google it. It is different in every state. Heritage is currently not registered in all states, only those where the sales tax thresholds have been met. States that are currently not present may be added in the future.

And here in California it actually varies from city to city as various locales add an additional sales tax to what the state already charges.

My last invoice had a 10% Tax added on (King County, WA), which even included tax on the Shipping Charge.

Like a dummy, I forgot to factor the sales tax into my bidding... Ouch! :(

WOW - 10% sales tax and 20% buyers premium added to bids. Seems to be an auction every week, must be the oldtimers are getting rid of all their stuff in retirement.

According to this article, for some states shipping charges should not be taxable.

we've entered the most exciting part of the auction - the last 2 days - where you pray you get outbid on a decent percentage of the bids you have out there

Exhibitman 11-14-2018 11:37 AM

Reminder: my Exhibit collection is up for grabs with some amazing cards, and I am presently $hitting myself over how few bids there are. Get to work, people! Don't make me come back there or you will be very sorry (to quote my father in the car when my sister and me were kids).
