Otto Kruger (Krueger) T206

Every now and then I stumble across something like this. He is listed on the card as Columbus, yet Baseball Reference has him list as last playing for Columbus in 1899. in 1909-1911 he was with Fresno, San Jose, Lawrence and Galveston. What gives?

Great article Frank! I'd wondered about that myself but hadn't got around to looking into it. Glad to see I don't need to bother!

Edit to add one of my favorite cards:

He looks like Alfred E. Newman to me.

Another one is Ellam pictured as a Nashville player, .........................

but he didn't play for Nashville until 1916.

Or Frank could have checked back to a 2011 thread and saved himself a lot of writing :)
