N269 Joe Lannon - #35 copy

It is said that Joe Lannon comes in a variation where he is shown as card #35, instead of his proper #37. Does anyone have this card or a picture of it?

Here's some copies of his #37 from both types of the set.

I've been trying to verify that for years.

I’ve recently started to gather images to see what can be confirmed properly for a ‘master set’ of this issue. I’ve been looking for a 35 Lannon for many years now. I am increasingly doubtful this actually exists and suspect it is just an honest check listing error like the silver border Jack Goodman. But what I suspect and what turns up are often at odds. It’s an awesome card if one really is out there, and I’d be curious to see which of the 2 types of N269 it is.

Might be an urban myth originating with Jones in Seconds Out. Maybe contact the CSGB and see if they can help? Or Martin Murray?

I know there are two Sullivan poses. Whether there are 4 total JLS cards due to the variations I do not know. I have one but the corner is off, so does that count as two?

I'm very close to completing the Master Set(Large & Small versions that includes 4 JLS's) but I have never come across a #35 Lannon.

I'd be interested if you can confirm all 4 theoretical Sullivan's do in fact exist.

51 cards makes no sense from a sheet perspective and would have had to have lead to a complicated printing layout of odd prints to add up to 51 cards, on a sheet of almost any realistic size. I have assumed it is more likely that the second Sullivan was swapped in at some point (it may not have replaced whichever the first Sullivan was).

The post where is looking more to the right (second image here) seems to me to be tougher, but perception isn't much with this set and I haven't collected it, just watched it for a long time.

Here's both in the type with the copyright line.

I'm looking to buy a N269 Sullivan, Poole or Morrisey if anyone has one available.

Thanks,
Brian

Sullivan, sans lithographer line, slightly facing right.

I'm glad this went for so much so I don't have to feel bad about losing it lol.
