Selling for less than face value.
It says right on the back the value is $7k.

Leaving room for a flipper to make a profit, very kind of the seller.

"The card is made of plastic and is an original, not a licensed reprint."

It's so nice he has it listed twice.

Smart seller to put it in plastic, cant have the card damaged.

JustinD 01-24-2024 10:11 AM

This is so bad, the only excuse I can reason is that the seller is mentally handicapped. I can't even imagine someone going down this road without some definite issue. It's completely off-kilter.

Thanks for outing the auction to everyone... I was hoping to get it at a bargain

Wow. A real collectable PLASTIC card. And he's even in his Philadelphia A's uniform. At $7K a real bargain.

You guys do know eBay has AI descriptions at the click of a button right?

This is what happens when you choose that.

This all it is lol. AI doesn't know our hobby and instead of not answering a question or saying it doesn't know, all the systems I've tried just pull seemingly random information from other sports collectibles and spit it out as if it's true. It's not actually intelligent at all, it's just analyzing input into an output, and they aren't really trained on the hobby.

Possibly for the description only and it could only be based on the inane description. Even AI would not add a card to a Boxing set without direction.

The screen shots of another counterfeit Plank listing as a comp, the wrong card series, the insane description selections...all the seller.

AI cannot be the excuse always.
