SGC has a new Gold flip color for Pristine 100s

Surprised to read this on blowout rather than Net54, but SGC has changed their flip color to differentiate 100 grades, following Beckett's Black Label 10.

BigSeph has a good idea with his personal redesign of the flip. Net54 should start a thread about building a better SGC experience. Including all ideas on flip (include photoshopping), set registry ect.

One of the smaller grading companies (was it SCD?) did assign an 11 grade to a card. It’s been 20-25 years but I remember them advertising this as a possibility and then the article when they assigned the grade. I think it was a Sean Casey rookie card. Been searching for the details but can’t find it. Somebody here will post a link I’m sure.

How about they focus more on a gasket that won't allow the card to slip behind or in front of it and cutouts that fit the card properly instead of the golden ticket.

I have heard that they did this on cards that were opened in front of them that would attain a grade of 10. That company is no longer in the grading business.
