FS (auction) - 1923 Burstein Isaacs (All CAPS) - PSA Near Set 45/50
For Sale: 1923 Burstein Isaacs - Famous Prize Fighters (All Capitals) - Near Complete (45/50) PSA-Graded Set - #2 All Time Finest on the PSA Set Registry. This set is incredibly rare. I know of only one complete set of these - and I own it (#1 on the PSA Set Registry). These cards are hard enough to find raw, but to find an entire graded near set in mid grade condition is definitely a difficult task. The set is chock-full of legendary boxers such as, Jack Dempsey, Jack Johnson, Jim Jeffries & Georges Carpentier. The five fighters that this set is missing are: #1 Jeff Smith, #5 Young Josephs, #23 Tommy Burns, #43 Matt Wells & #48 Jack Britton. Please let me know if you have any questions - the entire set breakdown is listed below for your reference, along with additional scans.

Likewise, Alan. I appreciate it.

Jeff, I am not sure what your experience is, but my experience in collecting the B.I. sets is that the ALL CAPS version is much harder to find than the MiXeD tYpE version. I see mixed type for sale all the time, but I hardly see the ALL CAPS for sale in this large a lot. Kudos for putting this near set together, and thanks for making it available. If you aren't careful, I might catch you on the registry if I win this auction and combine them with the couple that I already have. :)

I honestly haven't seen many large lots of either types available very often, but the All CAPS version seem to be much harder to find.

One day left on the auction. Go luck to any of you who are bidding.
