"Roast Me" Thread

Here are the rules:

You display one card from your collection. Only one card in the beginning please as to allow adequate time for proper roasting of posted cards.

All comments should be in good taste and not insulting to the poster. If you don't get along with someone and what you might say could be taken wrong then please DO NOT post it.

Pretty much that is all I have for rules. Happy Roasting Net54!

PS Thank you post#3

That card is dirtier than Babe's uniform. And who would buy a card that isn't in color? :)

ullmandds 04-12-2018 11:30 AM

wtf! was babe ever on LA? is that card even real?

BruceinGa 04-12-2018 11:31 AM

Probably before color photos, much like color TV was unheard of until the early 1960's.

LuckyLarry 04-12-2018 11:34 AM

brianp-beme 04-12-2018 11:45 AM

Who is this "Babe" who is "King of them all?" And anyhow, babies rarely make effective rulers.

Brian

Buckner- card looks trimmed= 2 sharp corners, but rounded on bottom corners
Also may get the MK designation..appears someone took and put a mustache on him.

King- Damn! I am surprised he was able to write his name.

RE: Buckner - What did Michael Jackson and Bill Buckner both have in common? They both wore a glove on one hand for no apparent reason.

RE: King: "Which way did he go George, which way did he go??"

Just think if he had picked up this routine grounder, the Mookie Ball would be worthless.
